Big North West Wedding.

I have had a busy week of weddings

Jo and The Thomas Cook Girls

covering the North West of England. I have been up to The Merewood Hotel up in The Lake District for the wedding of Louise and Mike. The weather was very kind to the happy couple and shone throughout the day. The bride and groom started the night off with their first dance…Nobody Does It Better by Radiohead, a version of the old Carly Simon number. Its a great track and really got the night off to a flying start. The dancefloor was full all night…I even had one of the Ushers trying to dance on the bar!! Great fun was had by all…I would like to wish Louise and Mike a long and happy life together.

Saturday July 14th I was at The Blackpool Hilton Hotel for the wedding of Jo and Dave Mulholland. This was an all day and night function for me providing background music throughout the wedding breakfast followed by some toast mastering and the introductions of the wedding speakers. The room looked amazing for when the bride and groom arrived…my DJ booth looked fantastic in the room. I have never seen a wedding cake like Jo and Daves before,it even had a working water fountain in the middle of it! After the speeches we moved function rooms for the night time party. The bride and groom chose The One by Shania Twain for their first dance followed by I Loved Her First by Heartland which was chosen epecially for Jo and The Father of The Bride, Ian Thomas. There was not a dry eye in the roomby the time they had finished their dance, the words are perfect for a bride and FOB dance. Jo and Dave booked the soul band Souled Out for their wedding reception who really got the party going. After they had finished we got the place really going with some more upto date chart songs. I really enjoyed the bride and the girls from Thomas Cook who had a special dance to We Speak No Americano by Yolanda Be Cool which they picked up from one of Jos Hen Nights in Magaluf!! Jo and Dave really make a fantastic couple,I hope they enjoy their two honeymoons and spending the rest of thier lives together!!Jo and Daves cake with the fountain!
